Whether the medium, oil colours on canvas or html5 with some php and css, for me it is all about visual, and how we experience the design.
And this is me
Just a short bio
My name is Anna Chiampesan and I was born in Vicenza, a city in the North-East of Italy. Ever since I was a child, I’ve had a passion for drawing and painting. Fortunately, I was able to attend an art high school and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, where I graduated in 1998. After completing my studies, I exhibited my works in my home region of Veneto.
In 2000, I moved to London and my interests shifted slightly towards the new media age. I began exploring digital designs, desktop publishing, and interactive graphics. In 2010, I decided to pursue a Multimedia Technology course at East London University, which I completed in May 2013.
This decision came from my desire to expand my understanding of visual art as a form of communication. While the Accademia di Belle Arti helped me develop my raw artistic talent and traditional painting techniques, Multimedia Technology exposed me to the digital graphics environment, platforms, and usability issues.
Today, I work full-time as an email developer, while also freelancing as a website and digital content creator. In my free time, I continue to paint, combining my natural artistic abilities with my digital skills.
And
My studio
I began painting with more purpose shortly before lockdown. At the time, I was using a small spare room on the second floor of my home, originally intended for an au-pair. As I continued to create, the space became increasingly cluttered with my artwork.
Fortunately, my husband had the idea to repurpose our neglected garage as a new studio. I am incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated space to create in now. It’s become my favorite room in the house, and my family knows exactly where to find me when I’m at work.
