about me
My name is Anna Chiampesan, I was born in Vicenza, North-East of Italy.
I have always had the passion for drawing and painting since I was a child.
I was therefore fortunate to attend the Accademia di Belle Arti ("Academy of Fine Arts") in Florence, Italy.
Upon graduation in 1998 and thereafter, I exhibited my works in my home region of Veneto, North East of Italy.
When I relocated to London in 2000, my interests have stayed the same with a slight modification in focus taking me into the new media age. These include DTP, digital designs and interactive graphic.
In 2010, I elected to pursue the Multimedia Technology course with the East London University where I finished in May 2013.
This came about as a result of my observation that, whilst the Accademia di Belle Arti strengthened my natural raw artistic talents thereby making me very proficient in traditional painting techniques as well as expanding my knowledge of the history of art, Multimedia Technology on the other hand has exposed me to an understanding of visual art as a form of comunication. This has broadened my long acquired skills working as a freelance web designer, developer, UX, desktop publisher, visual designer in the digital graphics environment, its platforms and usability issues.
